produced as a guide for those involved in organising a walking
or cycling event in support of the 'get a life, get active'
campaign. It explains the many reasons for organising an event
such as having a fun day out, developing community relations,
raising awareness of the local environment or promoting the
health benefits to be gained from regular, moderate exercise.
It also explains how to start planning an event, where to go
to for advice, how to turn an idea into an event on the ground
and how to promote it. |
