Description:
Being overweight is a major health problem for Northern Ireland.
This leaflet includes two methods to help members of the
public assess whether or not they are overweight and by how
much. It outlines a step-by-step guide to achieving a healthy
weight, including information on setting targets, regular
physical activity and identifying appropriate dietary changes.
The Balance of Good Health is used to illustrate the types
and proportions of foods that are recommended for health.
