can I obtain a copy of the latest health-related strategies?
A Strategies
are generally produced by Government departments, agencies
and by community and voluntary organisations. Many of the
strategies produced by Government departments have an element
of health-related information. As documents, they communicate
an organisation's long-term aims and objectives as well as
inform other groups of how these plans may impact on their
work.
As a special
agency of the Department of Health, Social Services and Public
Safety (DHSSPS), our work is guided by many strategic documents.
Several of the most important strategies along with a number
of consultation documents are listed on this site, as well
