On 11 March, the Health Promotion Agency is holding a half-day seminar on young people and alcohol in Northern Ireland. The aim of this seminar is to disseminate information from regional research on 11�16 year olds and their attitudes and behaviours in relation to alcohol. Findings in relation to the parents of 11�16 year olds will also be disseminated.
Findings from two pieces of research will be presented:
- Health Promotion Agency qualitative research with young people and parents from 2007;
- Queen�s University, Belfast, Institute of Child Care Research ongoing longitudinal study of substance use with young people and families.
There is no charge for attending this seminar.
