E Learning Project
Involves:	This group involves: -British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) -Health Promotion Agency (HPA) -SX3.
Aim:	To seek funding for an E Learning tool which will be developed to support General Practitioners' and other primary health professionals' learning and development on smoking cessation techniques.
Work:	The objectives of this project are: 1.To produce an interactive CD-ROM that contains tutorials, video sequences and activities that develop understanding and strategies on smoking cessation. 2 To present role plays and exercises designed to help motivational interviewing skills. 3.To build an online community where users can get feedback from other health professionals and access to latest statistics and other relevant information. 4.To build on any currently available resources. 5.To provide module accreditation to support health professionals in their ongoing education. 6.To motivate the user to practise and continue their learning.
