| Aim: |
To disseminate
current research information through the development of a research
database and to identify common strands in physical activity
research by continuing to develop a research agenda - to recommend
to NIPAIG priority areas for action. |

The HPA facilitates
this group, which is chaired by Dr John Yarnell, Senior Lecturer
in Cardiovascular Epidemiology, Queen's University, Belfast.
The group meets four times a year and is currently developing
a standard evaluation framework for local physical activity
interventions. |
