Description:
This leaflet contains the facts about the new dTaP/IPV or DTaP/IPV vaccine introduced in September 2004 and the MMR booster given to children before they start school. The leaflet outlines the diseases the new vaccine protects against –diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough (pertussis) and polio – and explains what to do if your child develops a high temperature after immunisation. It also provides answers to common questions on immunisations and a timetable of routine childhood immunisations.
