This flickover booklet provides important notes on immunisation for health professionals. It covers issues such as parental consent, general contraindications, specific contraindications, false contraindications, anaphylaxis/anaphylactic reactions, vaccine administration sites and the storage and handling of vaccines. Contact details for local consultants in communicable disease control and consultant paediatricians are also provided along with the recommended routine immunisation programme.
