Description:
This leaflet is used to support the Northern Ireland breast screening programme. It is issued to the one in 20 women who are called back after their initial breast x-ray for further tests at a breast assessment clinic. It is designed to reassure those women whose results subsequently show no sign of breast cancer and to explain what they should do if there is any change in their breasts before their next appointment. The leaflet includes details about the Northern Ireland cancer screening website.
