This publication is available to first time expectant mothers through primary care services (antenatal clinics, GPs or health visitors). It is purchased by Central Health Promotion Resource Services for distribution via Trusts in their Health and Social Services Board areas. The pregnancy book has been written with advice from: Community Practitioners and Health Visitors Association, Department of Health, Maternity Alliance, National Childbirth Trust, Royal College of Midwives, Royal College of General Practitioners, Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, St John Ambulance, and adapted for use in Northern Ireland by the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety and the HPA.
