HPA, November 2007, on behalf of the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety (DHSSPS). This is a reprint of Breast screening: Satisfactory test results – what now? March 2006. |
Description:
This leaflet is used to support the Northern Ireland breast screening programme and is issued to the one in 20 women who are called back after their initial breast x-ray for further tests at a breast assessment clinic. It is designed to reassure those women whose results subsequently show no sign of breast cancer and to explain what they should do if there is any change in their breasts before their next appointment. This reprint includes details about a Northern Ireland cancer screening website resource.
