Description:
This newsletter is intended to help keep all those involved in working with mothers and babies up to date with progress towards achieving the aims of the Breastfeeding strategy for Northern Ireland. This issue includes articles on the launch of a new DVD on teaching breastfeeding skills, National Breastfeeding Awareness Week 2007, the continuing progress of the Baby Friendly Initiative and the Breastfeeding welcome here scheme, and a summary of recent research relating to breastfeeding.
